Ok need some help here, dvd srink is working just fine, but when decrypter starts up it does alot of write tries over and over till it get to about 20 then faults out.
Sounds like you're using shrink to decrypt and create an ISO, then having it burn with DVDdecrypter. If decrypter is giving you problems with burning the ISO the problem is usually not with decrypter so try this:
First check to see if your drive's firmware is up to date, it could be having a problem with the DVD media you are using and since upgrades provide support for more media types it could solve your problem. Follow the link to check.
You can also use DVDdecrypter to check for you, go to Tools..Drive..Check for Firmware Update
Second, you should alway use good quality media to make your backups with, the good stuff is usually made in Japan.
Third, set DVDdecrypter to burn at 4x and no greater than 8x, unless you have a Plextor 716A, I burn my Backups at 16x using Verbs (16X)DVDs and they always playback perfectly.
