Have anyone had any success with Dark Water? I have dvd4free and DVD Copy2. The program will shoot up the cpu processor to 100% and hang. Anyone else have any success?

Junjun2,

How do you know which ones to blank with VobBlanker on this movie?

When using vobblanker look for the VTS_XX.VOB that has the largest file size(this is usually the main movie), click on it to display the associated PGCs in the selected title set on the bottom. Under PGC# look for the entry XX that has the longest duration and largest size, this is the entry you want to keep, blank the rest. Process and then open with shrink.

Thanks! Johnl123
I'll give it a try. I've already been successful with this movie by using AnyDVD and CloneDvd2, but I like to expand my horizons and look for alternative solutions.

@poplau

It's always good to know different methods, and become comfortable with them, just in case you run into a difficult movie. I'm always looking to learn too.

Cheers.

I did the shrink to and it didn't work. I downloaded the trial ver of AnyDVD and tried to use an old ver of CloneDVD and it didn't work either. Into the Blue worked for me but not Dark Water. It's really weird because I have a couple of DVD copy programs and none of them work.

Was able to backup Dark Water with AnyDVD and CloneDVD2. Previously with Shrink the "Out of Memory" message continously came up. Purchased these two using the coupon and 45 minutes later had a backup of my original. Can't go wrong with those two.

Hey Sparky,

Just go to http://www.slysoft.com and buy it there. At the bottom of the page there's a coupon/promotion code blank - type in "afterdawn" without the quotes and it'll discount you $10.00.

I just made a back up of my personel copy of Dark Water Today,
I used DVDFabDecrypter to save it to my HD
then i used CloneDVD2 to write it

you can try that, clone dvd2 has a 21 day free trial so why not...

Hi, that's easy, thanks to other people who help me.

1. Open Any DVD in background.
2. Open Clone DVD 2 and made a perfect copy(8.5 go)and select folder on your computer.
3. Open DVD Shrink and compress the files Clone DVD give to you, and it will works 100%, with not ERROR like(memory or something).

Thanks you all:)
And I hope my post will help you .

@chilwill

You don't have to use DVD Shrink. CloneDVD automatically does the compression for you. CloneDVD plus AnyDVD = awesome backups!

I understand that. Started using that great combo the other night. I just asked about Shrink in step #3 to see if there was some quicker method that I'm missing.

Nope - not at all. I can't answer why he's doing it that way.

AnyDVD and Nero Recode 2 is another good method.
