I am trying to Download the JRE software so I can use the Azureus client. Unfortunately I have have had problems connecting to the network. Could anyone give me some advice to cure this problem

Sorry I downloaded the program and that was fine. I have problems when I go to install the program. I will use the install wizard and it won't connect to the network to install from the java.com site.

is this the java runtime enviroment for windows xp ?
do you have broadband or dial up ?
do you have any firewalls ,,, if xp, xp has a built in firewall ,,,turn off all firewalls.
