Freezing problems with DV movies burned to DVD-R

Good news Rotary - Success!!! The change to DVD+R has worked like a charm! No more freezes. I switched to a brand called ABCRON and used their "MyPlayo" DVD+R discs and it worked fine. I did have one final question - I did what you said about changing the booktype in DVD Decrypter and it give me a "success" after doing so, but then I could not use that program to go to my Nero burning program. Do I need to do that? I made the change and then opened up the Nero program separately - does this make sense? or is this not changing the booktype when I use my Nero burning softeware?

I want to thank you and Afterdawn for all of your help. Anyone that wants to learn alot about DVD creation should just read this thread!! Thanks again!!!

you lost me abit?

you dont need nero you need to use dvd decrypter to burn only/booktype

you need the file is ISO format though for DvdD

Yes, that is what I was asking - once I set the booktype and make the change to DVD-ROM I can then simply open up any burn program and it will treat it as though it was burning to DVD-Rom, correct?
