I have a 1.5 Jap PSP that i use a lot for homebrews, etc. The thing I would most like to use on it is the internet. I have tried using the Wipeout pure browser and changing the dns settings,s I have that game, but its not quite what I need. If I update to v2 I know I can downgrade to 1.5 again. My question is: How good is the v2 browser, if I downgrade to 1.5 do I loose all my v2 settings(favourites, home page, etc). Is it worth upgrading just to use the internet?

I would suggest giving v2.00 a try. If you only have a taste for Homebrews' then Fanjitas' 2.0 EBOOT Loader could just be your Ticket! Having recently updated to v2.00 myself because of GTA:LCS. I thought my time with Homebrew was over!! But, thanks to Fanjita and his v2.0 Loader I'm now able to run ~all my Homebrew's~ includeing my much beloved Spider Solitaire which ws written in Python Script. At first it was giving me problems, such was with the GB\C and SNES Emulators. One quick change to the Configuration File, and everythings cool now!!

No it's not a preaty as v1.00 or v1.50. But, Homebrew on v2.00 is quite possible!!
