Sounds like you are in a moral delimma...I too am from the USA and have successfully DL'd almost every proggy that I need from this site. So you can ignore the prompt if you want, it really only a disclaimer, letting you know what you are about to do may/or may not be illegal in the country that you reside in.

Your best bet is a REAL ripping program, not a conversion program. You will find exactly what you require (DVD Fab Decrypter) if you follow the link below. Once you have the DVD on your Hard Drive, you can play it without the disk in the drive; provided that your DVD Player has the ability to Open Files on the Hard Drive and is not slaved TO the DVD Drive.
Give it a try, you have nothing to lose. It works for everyone else!

Now, you are into the area of "Conversion Programs" and I can't help you. Best bet is to take the question to one of the forums that handles Conversions. Ask them to Keep It Simple, or they will run you all over the place with Techno Babble before they answer your question!

Just go to DVD Video Authoring Forum right HERE.
Go to the top, hit the Forum Tab, then go down to DVD Video Authoring. Ask your question there. The programs you need are available HERE, but I don't know which one will work best for you. The folks who frequent that discussion area will know what you need (I hope)...
