OK folks I get alot of my cell accessories from cellphoneshop.net because I can buy the stuff dirt cheap. How about a new cell battery for as low as 5.00. Ok I was on their site and I have a Silver v3 and want to make mine black. They have the black, blue, hot pink and silver housings on their site, but it says they are not compatible with the Cingular, CellOne and Dobson branded phones. Mine is a Dobson/CellOne, but it is unlocked and I have flashed it.
My question is, if software branding is all that is used by some companys, why would the housings not be compatible? What's hardware got to do with the software?

Ok, well I thought that sounded funny, but their people claim it won't work on my phone. Also what is a Razr v3c? I have never heard of this phone till I came on here but I know about the v3x

im having a number of problems...
i have the Black Motorola Razr for Cingular, and i already downloaded the driver which i can plug my phone via USB and charge my phone. i also downloaded mobiledit and made some spiffy little wallpapers that i put on the phone. worked like a champ. however, i cant seem to get ringtones to go on...it says FILE TRANSFERRING forever. i let it go for an hour and still nothing.
also, does anybody know of any FREE programs which i can convert mp3's into the polyphonic ringtones? im not a fan of ringtones with singing.
im a member of D-D-N but not only are their tones limited, but my internet on my phone isnt working right, and the only way to download them from DDN is by retrieving a text message, signing onto the internet from phone, and downloading. so also if anybody knows of any websites that are FREE/cheap which i can save the ringtone to my computer then send to my phone via cable, that would be amazing.
HELP!!!!

that doesnt do any converter, i actually dont know any prog. for converting but am sure if u use the search engine u will find some..

i havent been in this forum in 6 months, and am not a motorola user at the moment, but there is a lot links for this prog. in this forum, i guess u have to look around...

Mossy, I got the housing and couldn't get it to work. Not that I don't think it will work but I didn't have the nerve to try and tear the screen or keypad all the way apart.
