Having trouble finding 'DMA'

I read the thread under the topic shrink slow and followed the steps but being a 'dummy' can't seem to find the drive's controller. I clicked on disk drives but found no advanced setting tab and tried to click on the other controllers and rt. clicked and went to properties but still did not find the advanced setting tab. Guess I don't know how to find my drive's controllers.
It takes me about 4 hours to encode a movie using dvd shrink.

You need to go into your IDE controllers and not your disk drives to change the settings.
