USB extreme software?

I have been through many sites and now I am confused. Almost every sites are writing different.

Further below at this site it has been written that u don't need any kind of chip if u have usb extreme software. You have only to ensure to boot with it on ur computer. Can u plz help me out? Thanks in advance

i had the sm prob but i over came it this is how

1. if u already have usb extreme orginal software which u purchased then ur ps2 doesnt need to be chipped however if u downloaded usb extreme and burned it u will need it to be chipped


2.plug your usb hdd to your pc then download and run usb extreme games installer

http://www.hdadvance.com/download/USBExtreme_wininst.zip

3. click the disk format tab click format and select your usb hdd drive and click ok and it will start formating

4. once done click games installer tab and install the games u want

5. plug ur usb hdd to ur ps2 run the usb ectreme loader software on ur ps2 and all the games u installed onto your hdd will be there just press X on the game u want to load and away you go
