HI ALL,
I CANNOT'T FIGURE OUT FLIGHTPLAN DVD DISC MOVIE!. I WAS SO UPSET EARLIER TODAY THAT I TOOK THE DVD DISC AND STEPPED ON IT ALL PISSED OFF. BROKE THE ROTTEN ANIMAL DISC. I KEPT USING PROGRAMS SUCH AS DFAB, DECRYPT, DE-SHRINK, AND ONE OTHER THAT I DONT REMEMBER THE NAME OF IT. KEPT GETTING OUT OF SYSTEM MEMORY, CANT CONTINUE WITH THIS OPERATION, UGHHHHHH! SAVE ME FROM THE TROUBLE FOLKS. JUST WARNING YOU, CANT RIP FLIGHTPLAN MOVIE. FAILS, TRIED 30 TIMES FOR 3 DAYS.

Jenny, Flightplan isn't due out until Jan 24. Usually if you have AnyDVD running use DVD Decrypter and then DVD Shrink you shouldn't have any problems.

The only help I can offer you is to suggest politely that you might reach over and turn off that "caps lock" key on the keyboard.

for those trying to burn flightplan. you must have Clone DVD 2 with AnyDVD running in the background. For any movies that are give you these same kind of problems use Clone DVD 2 and AnyDVD...

Last night I ripped both Flightplan and the Fog using only DVD Shrink and they both played back fine.

did flightplan and the fog with shrink and dvd region+cssfree running in the backround make sure that you have the latest version of dvd region+cssfree i think it is 5964 or something like that you should have no problems at all

1st, used DVDFabDecrypter- version 2.9.6.8 - ripped to hard drive (FREE)
2nd, then used DVDShrink - shrank it so it would fit on a regular sized DVD - but with shrink it will auto burn w/ Nero, so step #3 will now be done for you automatically. (FREE)
3rd, then used Nero to burn - use the burn engine of your choice - Shrink will auto burn w/ Nero
1,2,3,--- worked 100%, EVERYTHING

Ran clone dvd2 and AnyDVD behind shrink and had no problems with any movie lately since I got them. Wow, you'ed think after 30 times you would just get pissed and break the disk.....oh wait, you did. Nice one

EASY for both..rip with DVD decryp then shrink with DVD Shrink then burn....Reauthor or FULL DISC..your choice..Smiles.

anydvd then dvdshrink works fine with flightplan and must say buying AnyDVD is the best few $ i spent, beats other decrypters hands down

hello easytim,
to you or any1 that can help me: i tried dvdfab 2.9.6.8 to rip flightplan to the hard drive and when i try dvdshrink 3.2.0.15 to make it a 4.7gb i get an error of 'cyclic redundancy check' when getting to vts_3_3.VOB. Any help? please!!!

by teh way i used dvd decrypter and was able to move the complete dvd to the hard drive but if i try to shrink it (to shrink the copy on the hard drive) with dvdshrink it fails in the same exact spot vts_3_3

That video title set (VTS_03) represent the main movie, in this title set there are two cells that are causing the problem you're experiencing with shrink.
Now you can use anydvd with shrink to get your back, but anydvd isn't free after 21 days trial.
Or
You can use VobBlanker which is free. Just rip the DVD files to your HDD using decrypter in FILE mode, process those files created by decrypter thru vobBlanker, then open the files created by vobBlanker with DVDshrink. Use shrink in reauthor mode to get just the main movie, then use decrypter (for ISO images) or nero to burn to disk. I did it this way last night, it took all of about 35 minutes.

The people here should read the guides first before posting a question.I ripped and burned a movie for the first time 6 weeks ago with no problems at all.In fact I havent made one coaster yet,except with my first attempt with a 8.5 disc,or also known as DVD9,but could still view the movie and I have since figured out the problems using the guides.Dont get me wrong,im no blumming Einstien but Im not lacking common sense either. READ and follow the guides instructions thoroughly and do not skip the the most important thing of all,...the details.

I am also having problems with flight plan. I am using DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter, but i got a error. I heard that i can use dvd fab decrypter, DVD Shrink and then decrypter. I tried doing this but for some reason it did not owrk. Can someone give me the steps in detail in this process. thanks

so you search for a post just to tell people "read the guides"
i dont care if you are ripping movies since yesterday and now you can rip a DVD9 (wow!)
some of us are not ripping masters that can rip a DVD9 like you (wow again) or have no guides to read, so if you have nothing good to say just shut up. If people respond and HELP i dont see how that disturbs you
i'm just trying to rip a movie, i dont make my living out of that and i dont do it often (i only have like 8 ripped movies, yes EIGHT) so i think i probably know more than any average person with my experience
i probably dont have ripping skills but i do have some other skills and i come here and try to help people as well (that is why it shows junior member not NOOB like you). So i post whenever i can help and i SHUT UP when i cannot
