Hey guys...

I have a file i have played form my camcorder onto my Archos Multimedia player. Then i took it from my media player and uploaded it onto my computer. Its uploaded as an AVI file. Duration is about 2 half hours long.. When i play the file in Media player or Realplayer it says playing but it dosnt actually play

Heres the link to my Gspot results i dont think theres anyproblems

Render Results

Video Path (S) --> AVI Splitter --> FFDShow MPEG-4 Video Decoder --> (R)

Audio Path: (S) --> AVI Splitter --> FFDShow Audio Decoder --> (R)

Video src type: 4cc: DivX audio SRC: DVI_ADPCM (0x0011)

Also i just conveted the file to WMV (just to see if it would work) it plays straight away (unlike the other AVI version takes forever to start playing) But i can only hear sound. Normally when this happens i tell people to install Codecs Ect.. But im pretty sure i have a codec to support this file as i am always downloading Codecs!

Also i downloaded a DivX codec with DivX Player. The file played perfectly in there. But what i want to do with the file (moviemaker Dvd burning) it wont let me doo.

Anyhelp please!!
Thank you

Try reading this:
http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/divx_to_dvdr_with_dvd2svc...

Or one of the various AVI2DVD guides we have availiable in the Guides section. I would change the audio too to something more readable if you have a better version of the audio, like .wav or .mp2 or .mp3.

Try using another player, like Media Player Classic. If you get that, just go to options, then Filters, and where it says Source Filters, just uncheck where it says AVI.

If Im online, Im usually on Steam:
