Hi there mate,
You have to setup a couple of folders on your Memory Stick, in order to play movies / videos.
This is how is should be setup:
1/ In the root of your Memory Stick, create a folder named MP_ROOT
2/ Inside the folder MP_ROOT, create another folder named 100MNV01
Then, all you do is drag and drop your movie file (which has to be in MP4 format) in to the folder named 100MNV01.
It is very important that the folders and named exactly as above.
You access the video / movie file from the VIDEO option on your PSP.
By the way, I use PSPVideo9 for converting AVI / MPEG, etc files to MP4.
Good luck mate. This is a doddle once you have it going.
Cheers,
Lee.

sorry grackin1, not quite sure what you mean. i also d/l videos using limewire. you will then have to convert them to mp4 format (I use PSPVideo9).
When you d/l files through limewire, they are saved in the folder on your PC that you chose when setting up limewire. to check which folder your downloaded files go to, do the following (in limewire):
1. click TOOLS
2. click OPTIONS
3. in the option SAVING, it shows where your downloaded files are saved
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Lee.

Use psp video 9, it will convert movie files into mp4 then help you copy them over into correct folders.
However I suggest you upgrade to a higher firmware (preferrably OE, but you will need downgrade first). Because in later firmware, you can just drag and drop any mp4 video into the VIDEO folder, without worrying about all the weird naming crap.
#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...
