When I reauthor in DVDShrink and only use the main title I do not have those items any more. My backup just starts and plays. Is that what you are asking?

Is there a way to remove the menu buttons so they aren't there at all?

You can remove the buttons themselves easily with PGCedit. It's free, and does a whole lot more than that. What this does though is make the buttons unselectable, it doesn't change the image that contains the actual text of the button. For instance, you can delete the button that activates that special features, but the text on the screen that says "Special Features" will still be there. You can in fact change the background to an edited one without this text, but that's another piece of work.

If you have NeroRecode, then by selecting recode only main movie, only the movie is kept. DVD starts like a VHS movie with the movie and nothing else.

Well I know that I can do movie only without a menu at all but I would like to be able to edit the menus so I don't have to see some of the buttons ... I like to be able to select different scenes (in case I stop the movie and I know what scene I'm on and don't want to hit the skip forward button all day)and if I want to delete SOME extras and Keep others I want to be able to totally delete the buttons I don't need...

So in other words if I just want the main movie and Scene Selection all I want to see on the main menu is PLAY and Scene Selection....

You are in luck. I seen a webpage about doing this a few weeks ago. I dont remember what the website was but I would try yahoo or google to find your answer. All I know is that it CAN be done and you can delete the buttons off the menu screen. Just to let you know though it is a very long process and requires some work. good luck
