I purchased a region 2 dvd and am having problems after burning it. I keep getting invalid disk error on my dvd player. It will play on my PC but not my player. I am using dvd decrypter, anydvd, and dvd shrink and not getting any errors while burning. Please help!

Your player does not like the disc for some reason. What is the brand and type? You may want to try another brand. Also if possible, try it in another player.
Depending on the type of burner you have, you may be able to book-type your DVD copies. Book-typed DVDs are more compatable.

Here is dvdplusrw.org's Compatability tool, this just shows if your player is compatable with DVD-Video(which is what you burned) or DVD-ROM which is what the original is.

In my signature block there is a guide for setting up AnyDVD. Use those settings and it should help.

My friend couldn't play any of the disks that I backup for him on his two very expensive players. So I told him to buy a cheap Japanese player. He bought a Pioneer & now he plays any disk that I backup. It seems that in some players, it took a longer time to load & play on DVD+R disks. DVD-R pickup much faster.
