ha all i am a dvd shrink user but can any one tell me if there is a better compression software available to buy im asking because i am trying to backup my copy of the wizard of oz ( dont laugh!!) with all the extras but its a little to big for shrink i know i can re author but would like all the extras
any help would be appreciated.

You might try the 21 day free trials of AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 from slysoft.com....

If you can't fit it all then you can just put still pictures in for some of the extras. Other compression software include Nero Recode and CloneDVD. AnyDVD is not a compression software, it's a decrypting software.

Run through DVD Shrink twice and use the AEC control and Deep Analysis on the first go round to keep the quality as high as possible.

thx for the tips ive just done it using cloneDVD2 and AnyDVD i will now give it a go using shrink Deep Analysis.

ps what tool is better DVD Shrink or clonedvd2 I KNOW SHRINK IS FREE lol

Most ppl here at AD would probably prefer DVD Shrink free or not. Nero Recode is gaining quick ground because it is faster at transcoding than either prog.

Clone's not bad, it's also a little faster than Shrink. And you get to keep the menus after you re-author.
