Hey,

I recently purchased an archos av700 which i love but i have one problem some formats are not supported such as a specific type of divx which seems to be used a lot.

Im a bit of a newbie but does any body know of a good app which would help me encode it to something that would work quickly with no loss or little loss of quality?

Thanks a lot

Sorry, no such luck. Everything you use will most likely show some visible signs of quality loss. It should be able to use all versions of DivX (I think), from version 3 up to 5 or 6. Check if those files are actually DivX using this tool called AVIcodec.
