Very new to this, but am tring to shrink a PS 2 game with DVD Shrink 3.2. Comes up with an error message saying invalid DVD navigation structure. Is there away around this - have down loaded another version of DVD shrink 3.2 and the same ewrror message appears ? Should I be using another program to shrink this game ? Appreciate any help with this.
Cheers

DVD Shrink 3.2 is only for dvd movies; it reconfigures the dvd files to have lower bit rate, etc. for a smaller size.

I don't know of a program that can do this for ps2 games, and after a bit of research I don't think one exists but i could be wrong.

You could try manually deleting certain aspects of the game like superflous movies, but this could have undesirable results if the game tries to access them.

I suppose the only other way would be to somehow lessen graphic quality which would take major reprogramming and is likely impossible.

My advice: Fork over the dough and buy whichever media size you need (I assume a dvd-9).

(By the way, if you are trying to compress a dvd to a mini-dvd, ps2 won't read it so don't bother. Also, if you didn't know, you can't just play burnt ps2 games, you need a modchip or swapping tool)

It's just easier to buy the game.

What kind of game is it? How big is the ISO? If it's somewhere over 4.5GB then I would definitely rebuild them. Go here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/275350 for more info.

Good luck!!
