Sony Vegas 6.0 is affordable and works great ! Sure you can get better like Adobe .... but is it really worth it ?

I use Pinnacle Liquid Edition 6.1 and love it. Avid has bought out Pinnacle and have come out with Liquid 7.0 which I will be upgrading to shortly. It's kind of pricey at the start but if you're serious about video editing? I have hear good things about Vegas also but have never used it. I started with Pinnacle Studio and worked my way up. Also helps to have a powerful machine and plenty of space.

i stronly suggest Adobe Premiere Pro

it's actually around the same price as sony's Vegas 6, and in my opinion, much worth it

Adobe is used by many more studios than either of these alternatives, and has, in my opinion, alot o depth along with a relitivly easy learning curve

Actually Adobe Premier 1.5 is cheaper then Sony Vegas !
