So pleased I found this web site. Was going to buy 1 Click DVD Copy but, thanks to these forums, downloaded DVD Shrink & DVD Decrypter free instead! Thanks!!

I've successfully ripped a couple of commercial DVDs, but am having trouble with one created from 3 separate 15-year-old video tapes of a friend's band. It has a menu with 3 titles, one for each gig. I have successfully copied a DVD created by the same person from a single video tape, without a menu.

I've followed ScubaPete's Guide and reached the "DVDD is finished ripping the encryption" stage, but when I try to open the VIDEO_TS folder in DVD Shrink I get the "Invalid DVD Navigation Structure" message.

Could it be the menu causing the problem and, if so, is there a way to join the three sections together as a single continuous chapter?

Thanks for any help you might be able to offer.

I've just rechecked the DVD and it has a menu with only one title, and that title has three chapters.

Have you tried to use the Reauthor feature in shrink? You should be able to drag the three over, one after the other.

See the guide in my signature for DVDShrink and see if that will help you.

Well, between unexpected visitors I've continued to try to copy this DVD. In the Reauthor feature of DVD Shrink, the only files under Main Movie are Title 3 and Title 7 - there's no Title 1! Unsurprisingly, if I drag over Title 3 I only get the third chapter on the DVD. If I drag over both titles I seem to get the third chapter twice!

I went to your web site and tried the 'Guide Created by Sadsac' for making a one to one copy, but when I tried to open the VIDEO_TS.IFO file in VobBlanker I got the message "Error: Cell not found".

Thanks for your suggestions, but maybe it's time to give up and assume that this DVD can't be copied with the hardware and software I have! I really appreciate your help, and I'm sure I'll be posting lots more questions to these forums.
