I have managed to successfully decode DVd movie using DVD shrink. However can't seem to copy/move files from my desktop to external hard drive. I keep getting the following message and nEEEEEEEEEEED help - PLEASE.

Error Message: VTS_*_* " Data error (Cyclic Redundancy Check)

I would appreciate suggestions/advice to fix this problem.

So by decoding you mean you now have a copy of the entire movie on your internal hard drive and wish to move it to the external hard drive?

That should be a simple cut/paste operation from your C:\ directory\your_DVD to whatever the directory your external hd is, not involving Shrink at all.

Did you try setting your external drive as the Shrink target so you don't have to move the video files in the first place?

You can get some great help from the Guide in my signature for DVDdecrypter and DVDShrink. Follow it step by step and do as fastfrank suggested, set the destination target to your external harddrive.

Remember, shrink is not a burner so you will have to have a burn program to actually burn.

The copy and paste should work fine for moving from the desktop to the external drive.
