I need help backing this movie up, it doesnt seem to work with any program Ive tried; DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, or DVDFab Decrypter. Any suggestions or has anyone had trouble?

Well DVD Shrink and Decrypter just shut off completly. I dont know what the deal is.

What´s Carlito´s Way version? 1993 with Sean Penn and Al Pacino or 2005 with Jay Hernandez.

What kind of PC stats do you have? It is possible that you have a bad installation of DVDDecrypter and DVDShrink. Uninstall them and reinstall.

I would also recommend that you consider the purchase of AnyDVD from

http://www.slysoft.com

as it is an excellent encryption breaker and well worth the money that you spend on it.

Other (Free) programs that break encryptions are DVD43 and DVDFab Decrypter.

FYI, I did this one about 2 weeks ago using AnyDVD & CloneDVD2 with no problems.

So I Dectypted it with DVD Decrypter but obviously its too big of a file to burn so then i went to Open: Image File on DVD Shrink and it starts and then just shuts down completley. Any other suggestions?

I don´t know what film it is, but i´ve the two, the 2 sucks.
any way i´ve use dvd css + free and DVD Shrink and... ok that´s it
check the newest version.

That's strange. I just ripped only with DVD Shrink - no problem. Could be a bad original or faulty source drive.

The source drive would be the drive that you are getting the information from. The Source.

If you only have a single drive to do your reading & writing, the chances of getting problems are very high. Ideally, you should have a CDRW/DVD combo to burn your CD & read your DVD & a dedicated DVDRW to burn your DVD.
I have 5 DVDRW & I never have problems reading & burning because I shuffle their usage frequently - sometimes reading & writing.
I bought an NEC 3540A 1 month ago. At first it can read & write CD. After using it solely for DVD writing for a solid month, now it can read but can't write CDR anymore.
