i was thinking of buying some from there...they dont have a brand and are generic ..im assuming. input please.

Forget it. I bought some of their DVD+R's. Not very good. Most fail with a long movie. Plus, they are supposed to be 8X, but half the time they will only record at 4x. I usually record at 4x anyway, but they have quality issues.

I bought some from a fry's electronic in austin tx. There brand is called GQ. They suck! They don't burn at there top speed and the quality of the movie comes out skipping and it pauses stuff like that! You shouldn't buy those discs. I recommend verbatim!

yes i have, but NEVER again...do NOT buy the GQ crap they call blank media discs...i posted extensively about GQ somewhere or another months back...don't waste your money on that CRAP~!

hehehe..well, i don't hate GQ as much as i hate TDK~ :) but, nevertheless, just don't want you WASTING your money on these discs...for the same hard earned money you have, buy some good stuff...Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim...you will be much happier with the results~ :)

i had posted something in regards to this in either this forum or in the safety valve..
cant find it now.. but long story short..
i went to see, just for fun, what media choices were available..
nothing but crap.. they did have i think sonys or maxells..
i of course, was looking for either fuji mij (TY's) or some mcc... verbs..
i asked the salesperson... looked at me funny when i asked him for both of those brands.. i just walked away..

nothing but that GQ crap.. and the rest of the shelf was like memosux...

learned my lesson with them and quality media.
