Hi, I can't help with lining the labels up, but will make a suggestion that will save you time, make the job far better and stop you ruining your disks.
Sticky labels will rarely ever line up perfectly balanced and as such this affects the play back of the disks as they wobble.
Far better and easier, is to get a photo/cd printer which prints directly onto the surface of compatible media.
You can then just scan or download the image you want, line it up with the printer template software and away you go.
Gives a very high quality finish, especially when lacquered afterwards.
Would suggest an Epson R220, as this is cheap at about £50.
Everyone I know, who used to use sticky labels has now given it up and transferred old disks to newer printable.

yeah, your better off with a printer that can print to dvd.
like BigDK suggested, the epson r220, but you can buy the epson r340 for a hundred bucks at best buy. sells for 200 bucks, but you get 2 mail in rebates totaling 80 bucks and if you find a coupon for 10% off, thats an additional 20 bucks.... do the math...

of course you'll have to buy printable media (the white topped dvd/cd's) but the results are far greater then a stick on label, which also causes problems in the future.

as many threads as i read and reply to all day, its easy to get caught up in the reads... sorry for the mix up.
try here then, all you do is your search, then download the item, when it is sent to the printer, it's already sized for print. just shown smaller in the image for visual purposes.

Yeah i'm quite familiar with that site, the problem is that the paper i am using is scored, its size A4 size, the middle is the printable area and as i said i am using surething cd labeler deluxe software to print the images and it prints out of the area, its a pita to adjust and calibrate it with all sorts of wacky settings. I was just trying to see if anyone had used either of them b4, guess i'll have to keep trying to calibrate it myself.

I bought Memorex labels or inserts once. In the pkg. was Memorex software, with templates. I use the insert template, then downloaded image of cover, or scanned cover, and print out on 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of glossy photo paper. You can't tell the difference between mine, and the original cover.

It's your printer, that won't line up. Some have adjustments for image placement. My HP all-in-one has adjustments. It won't line up, no matter what you do! Also, the HP cuts off about a 1/4" of the cover's image. My Epson printer doesn't cut off anything. There's no adjustments on the Epson, because it lines up, to start with.

If you don't have the Memorex software on disc, you may can get it at their site.
Good luck!
