I just got these DVD's from Best Buy and I am trying to make backup copies.
I have tried using AnyDVD 5.5.1.1 and DVDClone2 2.8.5.1 without success. I keep getting a Data error (cyclic redundancy check) message. I get the same message when using DVDShrink w/ AnyDVD running in the background.
Has anyone backed up these two DVDs successfully? Any help would be great.
Thanks

Ken,
Thanks for responding. What version of AnyDVD did you use? Was it the newest one?

My AnyDVD trial is over - I used DVDFab Decrypter and Shrink for The Cave. The Gospel is a beech to get! DVDFab and Nero ReCode just the movie - and on one of my DVD's you have to fast forward to get to the beginning. Newer DVD player in the bedroom - there is about a minute of black screen before the movie starts.

That excellent to know that DVDFab Decrypter works with The Cave. I was getting kinda worried that I wouldn't be able to back it up.

Hey guys. Had to add a new program to the mix. I could only get the sound to come out right on The Cave by using program called FixVTS. Exact order I used was DVDFab Decrypter then VOB Blanker then FixVTS then Shrink. Sound ok. You could skip VOB Blanker if you don't mind the ads and warnings or just want the movie only. Hope this helps everyone.

The answer to "THE CAVE" is here http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/282892 -- I made that mini guide, especially for Newbies or for those that have not made any successful backup yet. Check it out and I GUARANTEE YOU 100% that you'll have a successfully working "full disc" within roughly an hr.
Good luck on following the mini guide.

i just purchased AnyDVD, CloneDVD and CloneCD: and i just backed up the Gospel with absolutely no problems.
i've been the proud owner of DVD X Copy Platinum since it came out; went through the upgrades with DVD X Copy International, called them on it (why i couldn't make back-ups of a lot of movies) and they directed me to SlySoft and AnyDVD. The 2 of them worked great together, so i made the bundle purchase.
"The Cave" and "The Gospel" wouldn't work for me with just X Copy after uninstalling AnyDVD; so i re-installed it and it worked fine.
Then i tried the both of them with CloneDVD and had no problems there, either.
