I initially posted in the wrong forum, so am in the right place now I think...

I am a TOTAL NEWBIE when it comes to dvd backups and I really need some help.
I have an issue with movies I have that I cannot cackup. Valiant, Hitch The Bourne supremacy and a couple of others.

I have been using DVDShrink with DVD decryptor and so far no problems till this one. Shrink did the initial read of the dvd fine, when I went to backup, it came up:
DVD Shrink Encountered an error and can't continue
Failed to read file "F:\" (my DVD drive)
Overlapped I\O Operation is in progress.

I downloaded the trial of anydvd today, don't know what to do with it or if I need it.

I have read over and re-read on the forum and still trying to find out what to do and I have come up dead.

When all else fails ask outright...right? LOL

I don't know what the error means or how to fix it when this happens...

That overlapped I/O causes some people problems so you might want to untick that box in Shirnk's options. But I doubt that'd help you w/ Hitch, valiant etc. Those movies have a new encryption on them, you will need either AnyDVD or DVDFAB. I don't know about AnyDVD but you could give DVDFAB a try. It's free and does everything AnyDVD will do. If you do decide to get DVDFAB then it's as easy as putting the original in and hitting the "start" button. Every thing is pretty much already set to default.
