What is the reason that I cannot burn an .iso of swap magic 3? I have tried it on both CD-r and DVD-r and I get the message that it is not a compatible PS2 disk. I find it hard to believe that you can backup games but cannot backup an bootdisk. Is it possible that the file needs to be patched? If so, where would I find the patch? I am using Verbatim DM DVD-r's and Verbatim CD-r's with Alcohol 120% at 4x. Any Suggestions? (And I already know that I should just put a modchip in the PS2 and be done with it, but where's the fun in that?)
Because the makers of swap magic (and other boot disc companies) pressed their code over an original ps2 game, so all the security stuff is there. Quit wasting your time, you will never get it to work.
SEARCH, SEARCH and search next time. This question has been asked a thousand times before and the answer is... it's useless. It's a waste of time, you WILL NEED an original Swap Magic disc to boot in order for you to play PS2 backup games period.
