after having no success with dvd backups (they would play in pc, not ps2) using nero express, I am trying to use Prassi 2.0 (build 2.0.767).

I ran the pxEngineUpdate366 that I think is needed to run prassi, but that did not help.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to get prassi to work or another program I should try, it would be greatly appreciated.

thanks a lot,
-jeff

hi jeffj i used prassi once then it neverworked again even with update kept getting error #9 or somthing so i scrapped that. the best program so far i found is DVDxcopy brilliant it is, takes up 2 dvdrs but worth it, you can choose if you want all the extras in etc, 3 easy steps with good tutorial and works in ps2 hope it helps you mate..

mrmont,

thanks for the reply. I ended up getting recordnow max and finally got it to work after I downloaded the PxEngine update that is on the veritas web site: http://www.prassieurope.com/ discs play perfectly in the ps2.

primo also recognizes the drive, but have not tired to burn with it - seems that recordnow max has good feedback on the compatibility side.

now if I can just figure out how to get subtitles not to autostart.
-jeff

Yes, You should stick with Record Now Max I found that it was the best burning software with the best compatibility both with movies and PS2 games.
