First of all,

Hello to everyone from a newbie PSP owner!

I've spent some time reading about PSP downgrading and homebrew, sadly my PSP was a gift an is 2.6, and before you all start ranting, I'm not going to ask about downgrading.

But in the hope of one being availble at some stage in the future, would you recommend registering on the yourpsp website?

I've never registered anything before, but I wondered if there was any benefits and of course future problems if I was to do so. I don't really like the idea of them having my serial number, in case they track anything I do/have done whenever I'm online with the PSP.

Any thoughts anyone?

I registered on YourPsP the other day and the benefits from what i can see is the PsP pack they send out, you can also download wallpapers and some other stuff from the site. YourPsP is a Sony site so it wont really mater if they have your serial number as Sony will all ready have it from when it got made (for reference in case it's faulty). Am not really sure if they would or have kept track of what people do online but am pretty sure it only the ISP that could do that(?)

I registered at xmas, and because it was xmas i recieved Spiderman2 dvd umd, pro evo soccer, the psp pack and 250 soccer goals on umd dvd, i tell ya what i live in england and they give you good stuff wen ya register.
