Mine usually takes around an hour from putting the DVD in and my PC spitting the backup out.

Since I always seem to ask questions I will just put this into here to help everyone that helps me out....

AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4800+, 2.42 GHz, 2 GB RAM, Sony DVD-ROM DDU1615, ASUS DRW-24B1ST a - 1.04 (Firmware)

AnyDVD 7.1.2.0, Shrink 3.2.0.15, Nero 7.10.1.0

Around 30 to 40 minutes for me, of course it all depends on what you have running in the background and how much of your proccesor is being used up when you are doing a movie, on the other hand I have done them as quick as 25 minutes

Somewhat faster.

Make sure that your system has DMA enabled. Read this thread for explanation:

You would get a better response if we knew what you system was, type of proccesor, how much ram, what programs do you have running in background, etc, etc
