i have quite a few movie fiels that wont fit on DVD5 and i try to burn it using DVD9 but Nero won't allow. can anyone show me how to shrink the files so that it can fit on DVD5? shrink without losing the quality. is there any grograms or software that u can suggest to me? thank you all in advance.
You can't compress a complete DVD9 down to a DVD5 without loosing some video quality. You can use several proggys to backup the movie only and in some cases depending on how long the movie is you won't loose much quality if any. DVD Shrink (free) will do it and another very popular proggy is clone dvd2. You will need a program to break the css encryption on the original regardless of which program you choose to compress with. I recommend AnyDVD which is made by the same ppl that make clone dvd2 and you can buy them bundled togather at a discounted price.
If you want to compress a complete DVD9 to a DVD5 with the best video quality possible I recommend dvd rebuilder with either cinema craft encoder or hc encoder by hanks.
You can use DVD Decrypter to copy a complete DVD9 to a DVD9 by choosing read iso and then write iso. There are guides and links in my sig. DVD Decrypter is getting hard to find since it has been banned so here's a link to it. Get it while you can. http://mrbass.org/dvdrip/
