Hopefully someone can help me out. I looked through a couple of other threads and I am not sure if I am having the same problem. I have tried to burn a couple of movies the past couple of days (i.e. Wedding Crashers, The Island, etc.) and have been getting an error message when it goes into the burn to DVD mode. I am using DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink. I will put what the error message is at the end of this note. The strange thing about this is that I have burned numerous discs prior to this and have had no problems. I thought it might be the media I am using Sony DVD+R so I changed to Phillips and had the same problem. I hope it is not my burner being that it is a new computer (burner is built into computer- HP Pavilion). Thank You for the help. Here is the message I get:

The I/O error you are getting is indicating that there is copy protection on the disc which DVD Shrink or DVD Decrypter cannot handle. Neither program is being updated so they can't handle the newer encyptions. Try the latest version of DVDFab Decrypter or DVD43, both are free programs and can easily be found via Google.

DVDFAb Decrypter is very easy to use and requires minimal setup because it not very feature rich. Here is a guide: http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/backup%20with%20DVDFABDecrypter,S...
