Ok I have another qucik question. My dvd burner is a 8x. I usually burn using dvd decrypter. Ok so here is my question. When i burn i choose 8x for my write speed, but i noticed that my write rate never gets over 2x can anyone help with this?

Even though an 8X burn is not recommended...check to see that your DMA is enabled via this guide: http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/checking%20DMA.pdf

Ok Thanks. Why should i not use 8x? Do the dvds come out better if i use a slower write rate?

It is usually preferred to burn at no more than 4X for quality reasons, especially if you are using cheap media...such as Memorex or Imation.
