My DVDS works perfect anytime I put in a print copy disc the first time. If I have to abort and retry, I get a lockup when I go to "backup". I tried Open Files instead of Open Disc but I can't find the file- where is it and how is it labeled? By the way, has anyone had problems trying to backup unencrypted titles. I couldn't get Eternal Sunshine for anything. Something about no parameters set.

There are a few major issues regarding your issue. What is a print copy DVD? What is it exactly which you are trying to do? Sounds like there is a ripping issue, but no software reference. Sounds like you have a burning issue, but there is no software or hardware reference. Sounds like there is a media issue, but there is no media reference. Lastly, what exactly are you trying to play this mystery movie on? Computer or TV?

A "print copy" is an original, like a DVD you would buy in a store?
When I put one in my Samsung SD-616E DVD-ROM player on my Dell Dimension 4600 computer so I can record a copy of it on my Sony DRX-810UL DVD/CD ReWritable drive and watch it on my large Phillips-Magnavox Rear Projection High Definition with Progressive Scan televison set, my DVD Shrink (DVDS)3.2.0.15, falters if upload and have to abort before I burn.
The second attempt to burn yields a lockup.
I tried Open Files instead of Open Disc but the Shrink doesn't seem to be able to locate the file.

Thanks for the response you little ....,
that is of course, unless you really did understand my dilemma in your initial perusal and were just trying to be sarcastical.

Naaa, I wasn't being sarcastic. Just trying to determine your problem. Firstly, Is this the only movie it's happening with? Secondly, is DVDShrink your main source for ripping? Or do you use another program to rip prior to burn? I've found DVDShrink to have some problems with CSS. There are a few different ways MPAA is now encrypting their media. Some of which is unable to be decoded by shrink. Have you tried DVD Decrypter to decrypt this dvd? As far as your initial thread description "Print Copy Disc" sounded a lot like a copy of the original print. Instead, try the phrase "DVD Original" instead for future reference.

Cheers!

BTW, I'd have to agree with P2OG. I turned this off after the first 5 minutes. I almost slit my throat trying to watch it. B.O.R.I.N.G!
