Ok this may be a really dumb question...
I've used CloneDVD to backup a DVD film onto my pc hard drive and would now like to watch the movie on the PC (using Windows Media Player) When I go to the directory holding the film I see a whole bunch of VOB, IFO and BUP files, now I've figured out that the VOBs seem to be the actual video but none are 'linked' or will 'run' the other segments so how do I just run it as if I'd just stuck it into a DVD palyer, e.g. access menus, click on them to run extras etc etc.

Sorry if this seems dumb, I cant find anywhere with the info!

so you have a VIDEO_TS folder with .VOB and .ifo ect.

if so, use DVD Shrink and make a backup to a DVD ISO IMAGE

you could actually watch everythin in DVD Shrink, but if not,

downlaod Daemon Tools 4.00 and install it

in the toolbar by you computer clock, there should be a red or green box with a lightning bolt in it

right click, go the virtual CD/dvd, go to device 0, and mount an image

this will be the image made with dvd shrink

now open power dvd or whatever and it will show up as another drive

Watch Prison Break!

Many thanks for replying, much appreciated. Must admit it seems a bit of convoluted way of doing it, and I dont really want to install deamon tools as I already have AnyDVD running permanentely. Anyone know of an easier way?
