Ok last night i had a question about write speed. I made sure my DMA was active, now i is and my dvds burn alot faster at 4x instead of the 1.8x i was normally burning at. Ok so now my encoding in also alot faster. It went from taking about an 1 hr to copy to hard drive to about 20mins. this is great and all but i am just wondering if this is going to create any problems or should i be ok? How long does it usually take everyone else to encode?

I burn a 4x and it normally takes me about 45 minutes from start of process to finish.

You should not have trouble burning at 4x.
