I have a new XPS m140 with a Sony DW-Q58A DVD drive in it.
When i try to play a dvd in WinDVD or PowerDVD it skips.

The skipping occurs because the drive is not spinnning too slow. Only when i fast forward it to speed it up, then hit play again. It will be smooth for a few seconds until it slows back down again. I guess this is a power saving feature. Anybody know how to fix this problem or have the dvd drive spin faster while reading movies?
