Forgive my ignorance but I need some help. I am wanting to archive off my DVDs to a cache location and use my Media Extender to play them in my theatre room. The Linksys Media Extender will only play:

Video
Windows Media Video Series 9 (WMV9)
-Maximum resolution of 720x480.
-Maximum bit rate of 4 Mbps. Variable bit rate (VBR) encoding is supported.
NOTE: high peaks in the video bit rate (higher than 4 Mbps) may cause video glitches.
-Video width and height should equal the aspect ratio specified in the file.
-Windows Media digital rights management (DRM) support up to Level 2000.
MPEG-1 and MPEG-2
-Standard definition.
-MPEG-1 layer I and II audio.
-Maximum bit rate of 6.5Mbps

I want the best quality but only the main movie to conserve on cache. I have tried several converters but none of them seem to work properly. I have given up on trying to figure it out myself and would appreciate any help from you guys/gals.
