ok uys, this is what i did....i softmodded my xbox a week or two ago, then like a retard, i accidentally formatted the E:/ drive....now whenever i turn on my xbox it pops up with that error 21 sreen and the christmas lights...ummmm, it dosent load games, slayers boot disk or ne thing, and i tried hotswapping already but the hard drive is locked and i cant ftp to it or ne thing...

and the thing that makes things even worse for me, is that the day after this happened, the clear case and blue lights, and a dvd burner (to make copies of stuff for it) all totaling about 150 bucks (the same price as a brand spankin new xbox) all came in the mail.....i was so pissed lol, plz help me guys, thnx

sounds like your destroyed your default dash.if you copy the default dash onto a cdrw or dvdr you can probably boot up the dash and try and fix it from there or at least you should be able to play games.I have a copy of the default dash send me a pm with your email details if you want me to send it to you.

Well I had the same problem and it took so long to find the files because you also need Slayer Evox and the a xb dash file. So instead i just got a new xbox

i have the slayers boot disk, but it dosent boot up to it, it just goes right to the error 21

you might have to take your hard drive out and use a computer to reformat it and stick it back in.i gave you the dashboard file dont think it worked by the sounds off it.my E:/ isnt where my main components are stored it just holds my games.my xbox is hard modded and the C:/ holds my system files.
