Can anyone HELP! i have just started trying to burn duel layer discs, i am using nero 6 and dvd shrink 3.2.
after shrinking the movie it came up with the message CANNOT BE WRITTEN ON THIS KIND OF DISC. I did notice that it was reading the dvd+r dl disc as a cd. It also refers to the COMPOLATION PROPERTIES aswell, but i think that the problem lies in the disc not being recognised...i think....please can anyone shed any light on my problem, i will be etternally grateful....simpletons terms please.

what drive/burner do you have?

there is a good chance that your firmware is out of date...need to know what kind of burner (make and model number) before any futher help can be given...

i have a LG GSA-4167BA 16x DVD±RW/RAM Dual Layer Internal IDE (Beige) - OEM, windows xp not on the net so no anti virus etc to interfer with the burning.do you think i have to update my driver for my burner ?

..let's have LAST section of your Nero log which lives in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar.

You can differentiate sections via this section divider "====== *** Nero-Burning Rom, History File *** ======"
