There is nothing special about these two movies, DVDdecryper or DVDshrink should be able to handle it alone. I believe the problem is with DVDFab decrypter, shrink doesn't like the way DVDFab ripped the files, the file pointers may be incorrect and that's why shrink is unhappy. If you still want to rip using DVDFab then try processing the files thru IFOEdit first then open with shrink.

Here is a link to get it and how to use it(look about 1/2 way down)..http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?s=3fb5bfa1d11b4a9f...

What does IFOEdit do that VOB Blanker doesn't that could correct the problem? Since you say DVD Fab appears to be the problem, why did it work previously on movies I ripped and burned before starting to have this problem? Also, if DVD Fab is the problem, why would Shrink not rip the DVD since Shrink has the ripping ablity?

ifoedit corrects file structure so that the files can be read correctly by the application try to open/read them. VobBlanker has many uses, but we are specifically using it to remove/delete problem cells inserted to prevent movie backup/copy.

I can't tell you why DVDFab may be causing problems with these movies (or not), do you have the lates version?.

I suggest ripping the dvd with decrypter in file mode(whole movie) then use shrink to open the files and use as you normally would.

I do have the latest verision of DVD Fab. I will download DVD Decrypter and try using that instead of Fab. Although DVD Decrypter is no longer available via afterdawn.com, it is still available on the Internet, correct?
