I get an error telling me that I am out of memory and there is not enough storage availible to complete the proccess. Could somebody please help me how to deal with this.
I had the same out of memory error again last night. Was trying to shrink The Brothers Grim. Using DVD Shrink3.2 on a P4 3.2HT 1GB Ram dual 160Gb Hard drives. I watched the Page File usage climb all the way to 1.89 GB before it finally "ran out of memory". The Shrink program kept buffering more and more untill it displayed "not enough memory".
This is NOT a physical hard drive memory problem. There was 25GB of free space. Yes, I was trying to create the image on the hard drive (ISO).
I had the same problem with Madagascar. I would really like to back these up, so I don't have the originals in my car.
i had this issue also and i foundout that the file cant fit on the dvd, thats why you getting the out of memory error, if you see red on the green bar in DVD Shrink thats means the media cant fit on a 4.7 dvd disk.
hello everyone. most likely you don't have a out of memory or hard drive problem, this is how some computers experince when encoding ARccoSS or RipGard protection. just run the file thru this free software and you'll be fine.
The issue should of been fixed in this version:
2.9.6.6 (12/28/2005)
- Change: Improved copying engine, hopefully you don't need to post-process with VobBlanker or FixVTS anymore.
- Change: Fixed DVD Shrink "Out of memory" error when copying some new released DVDs, like "Valiant" (US).
johnl123, you're actually wrong about the protection. Both The Brothers Grimm and Madagascar aren't Sony releases. Therefore, they don't have the ARccoSS protection on them. They do, in fact, have the Macrovision RipGuard protection on them, which a lot of people are having a hard time with.
