my mc exploit works fine but i am wondering that is there a way to go into keylauncher without having to use a trigger disc. by this i mean loading the ps2 up without any ps1 trigger disc in and going into the memory card option in the browser menu and pressing a button to boot keylauncher. i hope i explained this all right. anyway plz help if you know how.
i have a magic v and have no clue if it supports it or not. if you could tell me somewhere i could go to find more information on this that would be great.
I was looking at the specs for that chip and i don't think you can do it. You need a chip that supports booting directly off the mem card like the matrix infinity or dms4.
How about the duo2 modchip. My friend has that chip. The reason I'm asking this is because he (my friend) doesn't have a working cd/dvd drive on his PS2. He didn't install his first duo2 chip properly and then his PS2's mobo and cd/dvd drive was fried. So he just bought another mobo off of ebay but found 1 cd/dvd drive that was up for $129.99. So he couldn't get it. He also can't get another chip so he's stuck with his duo2. Please check the specs for duo2 and let me know.
