XP pro has a few more advanced functions for the administrators but theres not really a lot of differencr between the 2

How large is the Windows Xp SP2 Home file and the Xp pro SP2 file?

both will take up about the same amount of space on your hard drive give or take a few mb but the difference is barely noticeable.

the size of the cd is exactly the same. it is the product key that determines whether to install pro, home, and even media center (youd need disc 2 for media center though)

All I can say is... DO NOT INSTALL HOME!!! Especialy if you have the choice between the two. Home creates SO many problems.
