I used DVDDecrypter then VobWelder to link all the .vob files into one, then DVD Shrink to get it to fit on a single DVD. Menus, sub-titles etc. work fine but half way through the movie the image freezes or stutters eventually freeing up. Which parameters should I tweak ? Any help appreciated.

1) Rip with DVDDecrypter
2) Shrink and set output to 4300mb
3) Burn

U don't need VobWelder. Just make sure you stick to 4300MB and use quality media. U could be burning to close to the edge or it could be crappy blanks. Stick with Verbatim/Yuden/Maxell (MIJ) and Ridata/Ritek.

Just to add to unolord's response..

Don't burn/write your files too fast, you could start at 2x then try again at 4x, but try not go any faster than 8x (see what works best with your media).

Stick to media that the player is compatible with, if your still having problems you could try booktyping with DVD+R disks (fools the player into identifying the disk as a DVD-ROM, this works only if the burner supports it). Follow the link for some easy reading and a guide.
