when dvd shrink is doing its thing it gets to 48% and then just hangs, this always happens on every dvd file i shrink

I had the same issue on a previous pc that had low ram, and too many other things running while Shrinking. Do u have at least 512mb? Less than that will def slow down your pc.

If you have the preview on turn that off. Lastly just walk away from the pc when shrinking and don't try running other progs and see if this helps.
