No problems. Just use DVD Shrink with AnyDVD in the background. Burn with DVD Decrypter.

I should be getting it tomorrow. So will give it a shot. I have Shrinks and Nero. So I hope it works. I really need to get off my butt and get Any DVD. Just to cheap to spend the cash right now.

No problems here, as stated above just AnyDVD 5.8.1.1 and DVD Shrink worked....

I purchased AnyDVD when they had a sale for aD members. It was $30 bucks then and well worth it, even at $40. That's all I use now.

247dad,

I'm still using Shrink And DVDDecrypter as well. On some of the newer ones, I use DVDFabdecrypter to rip to hdd first , then Shrink and DVD Decrypter as usual.

I just added Fab to my computer tonight. Just reviewing it and some of the Guides I came across here. Seems good. I will give it a shot. I get a couple movies a week now in the mail so I will see. Quit smoking so my wife buys me DVDs now. Great trade off. I really like AnyDVD and DVD Clone but my freebie on them ran out before X-Mas. And Santa costs alot so I will get them some time soon. Need to put a dent in the old Visa first. $30 US I take it? I am in Canada.

You mention the sale price for members. Does that include Newbies? I am still very new and learning daily.

I did the free thing for 21 days, loved it, great stuff. I will spend the money and go with them. Well worth it. I just want to back up my kids DVDs mainly. They are so hard on them. So figure the cost is worth it compared to replacing them. My 2 yr old is murder on a DVD.

I can't even begin to remember how many copies of Finding Nemo I have done now. My 2 yr old loves the movie and also seems to love to break dance on it when I am at work. Funny thing is when I am home he is fine with them. But when its mommy here he goes demo on them. Its cute. But painful for me backing it up weekly.

Off topic of the orginal post. I have noticed several members have a picture with there posts. How do you do it? Some great pictures.

An other question for some of you more experienced folks. How do you get off newbie status? Not saying I am ready for that, but it won't let you post messages as fast as I would like sometimes due to Newbie status. Being out in the sticks I can not get any thing other then dial up. So not sure if thats part of the problem.

On the newbie status it changes as your post count goes up, you should reach jr. member at 50 and member at 100 or thereabouts. Addict means you have no fingers left cause you got to do 2500. As for posting a pic in your sig. You need to find an image server the best are imageshack and I use photobucket. Join up it free and then upload your gif. Go into your account and the edit your settings and then use the image server url for that pic. You will put it in your sig box as [img] the url here [img] make sure you use lowercase for the [img] in the brackets because the uppercase does not work.

Whatever happened to being discreat?

Hell, why don't people call up MPAA tell them that they're ripping them off and where to find topics gloating about it?!?

I thought there were rules against this.

Don't get me wrong, I like using Shrink/Decrypter/Ect... but I don't go around telling people how I'm waiting for movies to come in the mail to copy.

Nothing special with Red Eye. DVD Shrink handles it solo, as well as, Constant Gardner, and Transporter 2.

Red Eye didn't have any special protection. Copied with Recode 2, CloneDVD 2...AnyDVD running in the background.

@arniebear, how are you doing my friend? I know seems like awhile since I've been at AD...but it's good to be back.

Rosedog

I am not bragging about ripping anyone or anything off. I do get my movies via the mail via a DVD club. Since I have been backing up my kids movies I have been doing the same with mine. Plan and simple. Only do it to prtect them from being damaged. I don't make copies of any movie I have not purchased.
