I cannot copy file overflow.tiff to downgrade my psp from 2.0 to 1.5

hi,

but i always have to use my dads laptop to downgrade my psp. my pc does not let me copy the file it says access denied.

my dad has antivirus installed. i turn it off and i can downgrade whereas on my pc I HAVE NO ANTI-VIRUS INSTALLED and it just comes with a solid message: access denied, plz check its not read only or u have suffiecent disk space etc. but i do the same on the laptop and it works.

could it be my windows update???

i am running xp. is there a way round this???

please help, really desperate!!!

first off you should get a anti virus

dont know why its saying that though mines fine and i have windows xp with updates

i have, i just un-installed it for an hour just to check if it helps my psp.

i have tried everything now. i even tried burning it to cd and copying straight to my memory card. but it transfers everything even the photo folder but the overflow.tif image is deleted.

am i the only one experiencing this problem???

its really annoying. can i check or scan my pc and delete the update or protection windows is putting to prevent my opening or copying the file???
