i may have missed out on the posts about this before, but just now need to back up the movie. i have any dvd 5.8.1.1, and just did the update, and now when trying to use dvd-shrink 3.2, i can open the dvd, and then click on backup, and it starts...then jsut randomly closes the dvd shrink program

i have backed up 200 some dvds, and never had this issue before. can anybody help me out?

i have no interest in other programs so any advice for dvd shrink would be great, otherwise i'll just not do it...

please help?

I know you said you have no interest in other programs, and I am like you, I love shrink too much.

But, just so you know, the Nero recode IS DVD Shrink, just updated.

If I were you, and loved shrink, I would give recode a try. They are the same program.

I have Nero, but it doesnt get past the copyright stuff...how does that work? I have it to brun the actual files, but it doesnt decode it to the computer without shrink....

i just dont want to downolad another program for use like one time....plus i just bought the any dvd liscense....

ah, you will have better results if you use DVD Decrypter and copy the full dvd to your hard drive FIRST, then use shrink.

DVD fab decrypter+shrink copies everything. FREE+FREE=FOR ME!!!!

I use both DVDFab Decrypter 2.9.6.6 and DVD Shrink 3.2 and cannot get it to burn. I run through DVDFab and try to backup in Shrink and get the following error : DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue. Programming error - exception occured.
