Is there a similar article about DVD's?

You would expect DVD's to last a bit more than that wouldn't you?
Altough a must suspect a bit on that article, i mean, i do have a fair few 10 year old cd's (unknown brands) that still play very well. Not only that they spent most of their life time inside my cars... They're not exactly the coolest of places... I'm not saying that the article isn't at all acurate, but i am allowed to be suspicious about it...
