i am going to buy swap magic and need some help. i have check out a few sites in the uk market. i can get swap magic and different tools for £18 ( and p+p is included). what would be the best option (flip top, magic keys etc) from this site http://www.ps2stuff.co.uk i would also like to know if anone has found a better deal or if there has been any problems with swap magic or if a mod chip would be better. my warranty has expired and i have already opened up my ps2(v12). i hear that mod chips wreck your ps2. true??

I think fliptop and SwapMagic is the best choice because of the simplicity of the installation process.

You can ruin your PS2 if you install a modchip incorrectly so you would have to get it done professionally (unless you are good with soldering). I believe a modchip won't require the use of a boot disk such as Swapmagic.

Magic keys may be a good choice but i've heard people having trouble getting them to fit correctly.

The slide card tools will eventually wear and tear the plastic in the inside, i'm guessing.
